Introduction: CSR: Community Impact Award
Award Description:
This award recognises businesses that create meaningful social or community impact beyond their core commercial activity. Whether through education, inclusion, access to opportunity, volunteering, skills development, wellbeing, community partnerships or local investment, this award celebrates companies that are using their resources, people and influence to make a positive difference in the Mid-West.
Why Enter?
If your business is committed to making a difference in your community- whether quietly or at scale- this award gives you the platform to be recognised for that impact.
What the Judges Will Look For:
• Measurable community impact or social benefit
• Strategic alignment between your community work and business values
• Long-term or sustained engagement (not once-off campaigns)
• Outcomes in areas like education, skills, inclusion, health or social enterprise
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
• Be based in the Mid-West Region (with at least 12 months of trading in the region)
• Qualify as either an SME or Large Business, including multinational companies
This category recognises organisations whose community-focused initiatives go beyond their core business activities to make a positive, measurable impact on the wider community - such as improving access, inclusion, opportunity, or well-being in the region.
Please note:
If your organisation is a not-for-profit or your core mission is social impact (e.g. a social enterprise), this category is not applicable. You should instead apply under the Not-for-Profit Award, which is designed specifically for purpose-led organisations.
